Using Find in Your Web Browser

Using Find in your web browser is one of the most critical, time-saving skills you can learn — that no one ever teaches.

😕 I am absolutely astounded how many people do not know this simple skill.

Using Find in Chrome and Firefox

Chrome and Firefox are exactly the same, just look for box in lower left on Firefox and the upper right on Chrome.

Type ctrl-f and look for the search box in the upper right.

Without using your mouse, start typing what you want to find.

Notice the page scrolls to the hits and highlights them.

Notice how the total number of hits is shown.

Simply tap the Enter key to jump to the next search result.

Using Find in Lynx

Finding stuff in a page using Lynx that has been properly configured is exactly the same searching in vim.
