Installing a Minecraft Client
Here’s how to install a Minecraft client so you can play the game locally and connect to servers remotely.

You don’t really need to have a Linux workstation for this but these instructions assume you are running the standard SkilStak Linux workstation.
Step by Step
The easiest way is to just install the
sudo apt install minecraft-launcher
If that doesn’t work you can get the package file directly instead
curl -O https://launcher.mojang.com/download/Minecraft.deb sudo apt install ./Minecraft.deb
